Project summary: To provide a total of nine bungalows, 7 two bedroom, and 2 one bedroom, overlooking garden areas with private access.
Value: £500k.
Special features: All the units designed to wheelchair access standard, incorporating other features such as level access for shower areas.
Challenges faced: Minimum disruption to adjacent care scheme, yet close enough for staff and residents to access easily.
Outcome achieved: Development of traditional character, in keeping with pleasant suburban area allowing residents to avail of supported living whilst retaining their independence.
