Warren Hills School

The new Childrens’ Centre at Warren Hills Primary School, Coalville was developed to enhance childcare provision in the area. The scheme involved a large extension to form a new childrens’ centre wing with its own entrance, and significant internal remodelling of the school to form both shared facilities, and a clear line of segregation between the user groups. Externally, the playgrounds and access routes were extensively revised to provide wheelchair and pushchair access.

Project on behalf of: Leicestershire County Council.
Contractor: Thomas Vale Construction.
Project summary: Extension of existing building together with internal remodelling to provide a new children’s centre with three
